Jerry Garcia was a San Francisco kid. The founder of the Warlocks, who later became The Grateful Dead. Founded amid the counterculture of the 60's, they were the ultimate cult band.

In a psychedelic era they spread their messages of peace, love, and mind-expansion across 3 decades. The object of adoration for popular music's most fervent and celebrated fan following - The Deadheads.
Still, in the year 2014 you can find these fans hanging around the streets of Haigh-Ashbury in San Francisco amongst the other colourful folk.

For me, these guys are the ultimate in reliving what was a mind shattering era full of hope and messages of empowerment and rebellion.

"Our audience is like people who like licorice. Not everybody likes licorice, but the people who like licorice really like licorice." - Jerry Garcia
